Today we left Marrakesh and drove over the High Atlas Mountains all the way to Ouarzazate. On the way, we stopped in a couple of villages, including Ait Benhaddou. This amazing town has an “old” and a “new” section, divided by a river. The old section was used in the filming of Gladiator and Jewel of the Nile.
